Rumors Salon started in a 900-square-foot space on April 15, 1994. Gerald Wolfe, a former college baseball player and marketing major, worked in sales before attending beauty school while working for Gerrilynn’s dad, who owned the school. Within five years, Gerald had become a national-level educator. Today, as the owners of Rumors, Gerald and Gerrilynn have complete control over quality.
As passionate as the owners are about hair, Rumors is about more than that. Gerald and Gerrilynn are committed to bringing joy to their customers by providing a retreat from the stress and busyness of everyday life. And customers can keep that feeling going by leaving the salon with the tools to meet the unique needs of their hair. We underwent a recent renovation and we can’t wait to welcome you!

Our staff brings decades of experience in the hair business. Rumors opened its doors in 1994, operating in the same spot for 18 years. Stylists stick around, too. Some of them have been with Rumors for 20+ years. Our customers and stylists can depend on us because they know we are here to stay!
